Introduction

Without inclusivity, our goal of creating a sense of belonging and attracting a diverse range of talent into HAA would be impossible. Diversity might equal representation, but without inclusion, the key connections which attract diverse talent, foster change, encourage their participation and lead to growth will not happen.

In the words of diversity advocate Verna Myers:

“Diversity is being invited to the party. Inclusion is being asked to dance.”

Since the start of 2022, HAA has grown in size by 40-45% and we have learned that HAA’s vibe attracts our tribe. That said, there is still a lot we need to work on. While we strive to create a workplace where people feel they belong, we understand that our strategy will need to constantly evolve as we learn and grow.
